A BCCIC event
Education and Development: Through a Global Decolonizing Lens
A Networking and Collaborative Event
BCCIC warmly invites you to attend a free networking and collaboration event focused on Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education for All. The event will be held at the Dutch Urban Design Center from 1 – 4pm on April 26th and will be facilitated by BCCIC Board Member and Global Educator, Noble Kelly. In this interactive session, we will explore the multiple ways the idea of “global” is theorized within education systems and our work as development practitioners and suggests the utility of approaching the idea of global perspectives through decolonizing frameworks. We will then apply this framework/context as we collaborate on ways to work towards specific targets on Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4): Quality Education for All.
Attending the event is free, please RSVP here.
